Neuro-ophthalmology clinical researcher on retinal degeneration and visual system changes, in Parkinson’s disease.I am interested in tracking loss of cognitive capacity and clarifying stage of neurodegenerative processes. My aim is developing a clearer picture of disease impact and disease stage within individuals. In my current project I am researching cognitive and volumetric deterioration in Parkinson’s disease. Previously I was working on developing new non-invasive neurorehabilitation options for Parkinson’s, using neuroimaging methods: EEG and fMRI. Before that I worked clinically in neurorehabilitation in the British National Health Service, evaluating patients with acquired brain damage and neurodegenerative disease.
